Why does this page look like this?

After years of colorful, imaginative homepages with lots of images, tables for layout, etc., I grew slightly tired of it. This new page is simple and quick to FTP, it might grow more elaborate as time passes, but this'll do for now.

Who am I?I'm Mark Berry, a now 30 year old "creative person" from England. I'm a nice guy, but I worry too much, I am passionate about the things I do and enjoy my job.

Intellectual pursuits include graphical design, photography, web design, Rugby League, sharks, drinking and eating takeaways plus way too many other things. I have very little spare time.

For leisure, I listen to music, mostly "alternative", some hip hop, rock and trance, mostly anything that's not sugary, mass-produced pop. I watch TV and enjoy food. I like movies of all kinds, favorite directors include Stanley Kubrick, Luc Besson, Wes Craven. I dont like to read booksbut I will listen to them.

Chances are you are visiting to either RSVP to my party or look at the chav pics from the party! Either way, please enjoy your stay. For your amusement (well those who will remember) I have added a few links and details of things people my age grew up with.

A good friend of mine, Elvis... errr I mean Ray will be performing live on the night. Contributions towards this cost will be appreciated.

OK, the party will start at 4:30pm til late on the 19th August. Food will be available from 5:30pm onwards until we run out. If you want to bring your own food for me to cook that is OK but all will be provided. Bring booze, plenty of booze and not the cheep shit like sainsbury's carver or ASDA's own 225 ml bottles of 2.5% lager! Also important is to get chaved up! make an effort, no chav, no entry! Bring your camera's as well so when the karaoke starts we can all have a laugh and have a good night!

Well, I think it is fair to say that a good time was had by all at the party. I would like to thank Rachel and Margaret for their help with all the food. My Mum, Dad, Roy and Nan for helping with the setting up and Thank you for all who came and made the effort with the outfits. I will have fond memories looking back on this one. I would also like to thank Ray for a good show. Enjoy the photo's....
